We commence our sailing trip in the historical harbour of Portimão. Passing the fishermen's village of Ferragudo with two medieval forts, we reach the Atlantic, turning westwards.
Cruising by the beaches of Praia da Rocha, Praia do Vau and the natural conservation area of Ria de Alvôr, we reach Lagos, point of departure for the voyages of discovery of Vasco da Gama and Henry the Navigator.
With calm sea we anchor. You can have a swim in the clear water and visit the caves and the bizarre rock formations of Ponta da Piedade.
Afterwards we set sail, drifting through the bay of Lagos back to Portimão. Sometimes dolphins will join the boat.
