Program 1 — Caves Expedition

In the morning the sea is very calm, ideal conditions for an unforgettable cave trip.

We start our trip in the historical harbour of Portimão. We follow the Rio Arade, passing the fishermen's village of Ferragudo and two medieval forts.

With motorpower we reach the Atlantic, turning South–East, passing the beautiful coastline to Carvoeiro and the rockformations of Algar Seco.

In the area of the lighthouse of Alfanzina, between the beaches of Benagil, Praia da Marinha and Armação de Pêra, are the majority of the Algarvian caves, including the largest and the deepest ones.

With our traditional, specially equipped cave boats we take you into 8 of these fascinating grottos.

Monday to Friday, exept Tuesdays during June to October

Departure: 9.45 a.m.	Return: 1.00 p.m.
